Belkin India, a leading tech & digital lifestyle brand, has appointed Supertron Electronics Ltd as the national distributor for its recently launched keyboards and mice range. The launch included wired and wireless keyboards, mouse range and combos, offering a wide portfolio of products in the IT peripheral category, from the company.

Acronis Inks India Distribution Agreement with Supertron

Acronis®, a leading provider of disaster recovery and data protection solutions for physical, virtual and cloud environments, today announced it has entered into a new distribution relationship with Supertron Electronics Ltd, one of India's fastest growing IT solutions distributors, to provide protection for businesses threatened by potential technology disasters in India.
While Indian businesses have shown remarkable resilience in the wake of natural disasters during the last few years, Acronis Disaster Recovery Index 20121 showed that 60% of Indian businesses suffer downtime due to human error, and on average, suffer 1.7 days of system downtime costing each business USD$392,083 each year in lost productivity.

LG Electronics has tied up with Supertron Electronics for its notebooks distribution across India. This partnership will successfully position LG Laptops in key Indian markets.
Tailor-made to suit the diverse lifestyle of the customers, launch of the all new product line up, the 13 SKUs is a perfect blend of technology and style – from the 3D laptop to the slim bezel and design – LG offers it all. LG IT divison plans to grow 15% in revenue terms and targets 1,000 crore revenue by 2012.With Supertron's appointment, the brand further targets to enhance its distribution network across this category of products.
LG laptops are 65% slimmer and 25 % lighter than other leading laptops in the market. Keeping up the growing demand of notebooks, LG's IT division has aimed a sharp focus on growing its presence and plans to increase its reach across India.

Cyberoam appoints Supertron for NetGenie

Cyberoam, a division of Elitecore Technologies, a Unified Threat Management (UTM) major, has forayed into the consumer segment with the launch of wireless router named, NetGenie for the home and SOHO markets. To distribute this product to both channel and LFRs,
the company has appointed Kolkata-based Supertron Electronics.
The company launched 2 Wi-Fi routers with the integrated features of anti-virus in the network, firewall and 3G support for Rs 7,999 and Rs 10,999. However, its ADSL modem will hit the market early next year. The company took 3 years to build this product locally,
and spent close to $4 mn on R&D. However, the product is manufactured in Taiwan. It claims to launch first of its kind UTM-based Wi-Fi router for the home and SOHO markets. Cyberoam is looking at wireless routers and anti-virus markets to push this product. Presently,
Cyberoam has presence in 110 countries. Besides India, it's looking for tying up with Internet solution providers for NetGenie in countries like Australia, Africa and the USA.
Speaking on the challenges, which company might face in the initial phase, Hemal Patel, CEO, Elitecore Technologies admitted, "Since the consumer space is a new experience for both our sales and marketing teams, hence delivering the right message to the mass audience
will be a little uphill task for us, that is why we are banking on our distributor, Supertron. We will leverage its reach in 27 cities with focus on the end customers. Apart from new customers, we are also looking at the replacement market." Talking about the partnership
with NetGenie,VK Bhandari, chairman and MD, Supertron Electronics said, "The NetGenie product is already available with our master resellers. We have appointed 10 resellers and looking to add another 15 in short time. To educate channel for this product, we will start
multi-city roadshows. Nevertheless, we do see challenges to reach to the end customers."
Moreover, to push this product across India, we are strengthening our NetGenie team, internally. Bishwajit Sutradhar, national sales manager, NetGenie will be responsible for the sales and channel development. The company has added 20 people in the R&D team, and will be
hiring 40 new people for in-support, and 15 people for sales in India. "Globally, we expect $200 mn revenue from NetGenie product line by 2013. In India, we expect to sell our products to approximately 2.5 mn by 2013, which would be approximately 25% of the potential market
in India," said Patel.

Dell has signed on Supertron Electronics as a national distributor for MOQ business on servers. Supertron will stock and sell entry level and mid-range Poweredge tower servers and offer these products through their channel partners.
"There has been consistent demand from our partners to have our run rate models on servers made available. We have chosen a national distributor in Supertron to sell these products. They will soon be carrying stock," informed Mahesh Bhalla, Director Consumer and SMB Business, Dell India.

Supertron helps Acer's eMachine brand grow by 100 percent in 2010
Supertron Electronics Ltd., the fastest growing IT distribution company in the country has recently been conferred an award from Acer, the world's leading PC and notebook vendor, for "High Growth- Consumer Notebooks" for the year 2010.
Acer's award is an appreciation of its ongoing partnership with Supertron Electronics.
Supertron is the national distributor for Acer products since 2003 and the exclusive national distributor for Acer's eMachines range since its launch in India in March, 2009. Acer's eMachine line up in India comprises value level notebooks and netbooks.
Acer's eMachine brand targeted at the price-conscious consumer segment has witnessed a 100 percent YoY growth in 2010. It recorded average sales of 8,000 units per month during 2010, compared to an average of 4,000 units per month in 2009.
Commenting on the growth of the eMachine brand, Mr. S Rajendran, CMO, Acer India said, "The multi-brand strategy has worked quite well for us. The eMachine sales figures show that we have gone beyond our expectation and delivered more than the targeted figure.
We hit an average of close to 8,000 units of eMachine notebooks and netbooks per month."
Mr. Rajendran said that the reasons for eMachine doing well are its focused distribution strategy and competitive pricing. "Exclusively distributing eMachine mobile PCs through Supertron have worked well. At its price point it's been doing really well in the hinterlands."

Supertron Electronics Ltd(SEL) conducted its National Sales Meet, from 16th-18th July, 2010 for its Nation wide sales team amidst the serene plus surrounding of the Vedic Village luxury resort in Kolkata.
