Supertron Foundation organized cultural evenings, every year with titled “Colorful Minds”. This is to give an opportunity to the underprivileged children from various Schools and NGOs to show their hidden talents in Art and Culture. Each year, more than 600 audiences witnessed this scintillating performances and its truly amazing to see that most of the children have participated on stage for the first time in an auditorium. Almost 250 students take part in this event every year.

Set up by the West Bengal state government (Dept. of Health and Family Welfare, supported by Dept. of Women and Child Development and Social Welfare) with Anjali as implementing partner Pratyay (meaning resolve) is a Kolkata based assisted living facility /half way home The facility is geared for people from vulnerable and marginalized socio economic backgrounds who have recovered from mental health condition who languished in Govt mental hospitals namely Kolkata Pavlov Hospital and Lumbini Park Mental Hospital. At Pratyay, the residents who have consented to live here, are assisted through various engagement sessions, dialoguing skills training to enhance their capabilities towards independent living in communities of their choice.
For Pratyay, the celebration of festivals is geared towards achieving social inclusion. The goal of “Puja Parikrama” visiting pandals with people recovered from psychosocial disabilities is not just to celebrate and enjoy but also earn equal citizenship rights.
Supertron Foundation organized -Pratyay Puja Parikrama for the residents of Pratyay. It was just half a day of their outing with puja pandals hopping with new cloths and good food. But the outcome of this initiative can be seen in their happiness and their ability to mingle amongst themselves and recall some of their past pleasant memories.
The Supertron Foundation organized annual sports for the underprivileged school students, primarily from the computer empowerment schools and from empowered NGOs. Each year, 130 to 150 boys and girls participated in these sports, including those with special needs. Parents and siblings of the participants also joined the events to support and encourage the children for winning medals in various games.
In addition to the competitions, there are special performances of 25 boys and girls showcasing gymnastics, yoga, and karate for the spectators.
